Hario V60 Brew Guide (1:16 Ratio, 200°F)

What you need:

  • Medium-fine coffee

  • Scale & timer

  • 200°F water

  • V60 dripper + filter

Ratio: 1g coffee : 16g water
(Example: 25g coffee → 400g water)

Steps:

  1. Heat water to 200°F

  2. Rinse filter with hot water

  3. Add coffee, level the bed

  4. Bloom: pour 50g water, wait 30 sec

  5. Slow pour remaining water in circles (finish by 2:30)

  6. Let drain (total time 2:30–3:30)

  7. Swirl and serve

Iced Hario V60 Brew Guide (1:16 Ratio, 200°F)

What you need:

  • Medium-fine coffee

  • Scale & timer

  • 200°F water

  • Ice

  • V60 dripper + filter

  • Carafe or mug

Ratio: 1g coffee : 16g total (hot water + ice)
(Example: 25g coffee → 250g hot water + 150g ice)

Steps:

  1. Add ice to carafe (e.g. 150g ice)

  2. Rinse filter, add 25g coffee

  3. Bloom: pour 50g water, wait 30 sec

  4. Slow pour remaining 200g water (finish by ~2:00)

  5. Let drain (total brew time 2:30–3:00)

  6. Swirl to chill, serve over fresh ice
