AeroPress Brew Guide (Standard Method, 1:17 Ratio, 185°F)
What you need:
Fine-medium grind coffee
AeroPress
185°F water
Filter, stirrer, scale, timer
Ratio: 1g coffee : 17g water
(Example: 15g coffee → 255g water)
Steps:
Rinse filter and assemble AeroPress on your mug
Add 15g coffee to the chamber
Start timer and pour 255g of 185°F water
Stir gently for 10 seconds
Insert plunger and let steep until 1:30
Press slowly over 30–45 seconds
Swirl and enjoy
Iced AeroPress Brew Guide (Standard Method, 1:17 Ratio, 185°F)
What you need:
Fine-medium grind coffee
AeroPress
185°F water
Ice
Filter, stirrer, scale, timer
Ratio: 1g coffee : 17g total (hot water + ice)
(Example: 15g coffee → 170g hot water + 85g ice)
Steps:
Add 85g ice to your cup or carafe
Rinse filter and set AeroPress on top
Add 15g coffee to chamber
Start timer, pour 170g of 185°F water
Stir gently for 10 seconds
Insert plunger, steep until 1:30
Press slowly onto ice
Swirl to chill, serve over fresh ice if desired
