AeroPress Brew Guide (Standard Method, 1:17 Ratio, 185°F)

What you need:

  • Fine-medium grind coffee

  • AeroPress

  • 185°F water

  • Filter, stirrer, scale, timer

Ratio: 1g coffee : 17g water
(Example: 15g coffee → 255g water)

Steps:

  1. Rinse filter and assemble AeroPress on your mug

  2. Add 15g coffee to the chamber

  3. Start timer and pour 255g of 185°F water

  4. Stir gently for 10 seconds

  5. Insert plunger and let steep until 1:30

  6. Press slowly over 30–45 seconds

  7. Swirl and enjoy

Iced AeroPress Brew Guide (Standard Method, 1:17 Ratio, 185°F)

What you need:

  • Fine-medium grind coffee

  • AeroPress

  • 185°F water

  • Ice

  • Filter, stirrer, scale, timer

Ratio: 1g coffee : 17g total (hot water + ice)
(Example: 15g coffee → 170g hot water + 85g ice)

Steps:

  1. Add 85g ice to your cup or carafe

  2. Rinse filter and set AeroPress on top

  3. Add 15g coffee to chamber

  4. Start timer, pour 170g of 185°F water

  5. Stir gently for 10 seconds

  6. Insert plunger, steep until 1:30

  7. Press slowly onto ice

  8. Swirl to chill, serve over fresh ice if desired
